On February 25, 2020, Askar Wataniah UniKL MIAT has held an event called ‘Introduction of Askar Wataniah’ at Speaker Corner, UniKL MIAT. The event has started at 8.45 pm local time. The objective of this event is to notify the students about the existence of Territorial Army Unit in UniKL MIAT.

The event was open for all students. Its also attended by the President Residential College Committee, Adam Razak. The briefing about Askar Wataniah has been given by the guest speaker, Lieutenant Sazly bin Anuar, The coordinator for Territorial Army in all UniKL branches. The event was well-received by the students with approximately more than 60 students attended the event.

The event was followed by a photoshoot and recruitment of new members. The guest speaker, Tuan Sazly bin Anuar also mingling with all the students that attend. He expressed his gratitude for the commitment of the UniKL MIAT Territorial Army members present and he hoped that the number of members from UniKL MIAT will increase throughout the year. The ceremony concluded with a simple feast at d’Saujana Café with the guest speaker.
